Need advice with phone

Hi People,

I have a Nokia C5-03 mobile phone (absolute basic smartphone)

I kept getting a notice saying “memory full, delete or move data from C drive”

So I took this as meaning the phones hard drive,

I bought an 8gb mini SD memory card and have inserted it.

The problem is, I cannot for the life of me, work out how to move some data from the C drive onto the memory card or how to delete data

HELLLLLLLLLLLLP!! Please

I’m not familiar with that particular phone but if you connect the phone to your computer via a USB cable you should be able to see the phone as a portable devise under “Computer” or “My Computer” depending on your OS.

Double clicking on the portable devise should enable you to see both the internal memory and the SD card, you can then drag and drop or copy/paste the data from the internal memory to the SD card.

Once you can see the data on the internal memory deleting it should be as simple as selecting the files and hitting “Delete” on your keyboard.

ok i’ll try thanks

A few things to try are :
delete your sms messages
delete your emails
open your gallery > pics and videos and select all files > options > move and copy and move them to your card

I had the same problem, follow these steps and it will sort itself out.

  1. put phone onto carrier bag (tesco bag is fine)
  2. using hammer smash phone whilst still inside bag into small pieces.
  3. find a free flowing river and empty bag into river (do not use a lake or standing river as results will not be the same)
  4. go to local high street phone shop and purchase new phone (you can use cash or cards for this step)

If this doesn’t work repeat process

^^^^^ What he said!!

The Nokia C5-03 is a terrible phone :frowning:.

I’d recommended a nice Android device. I’ve just got the Sony Experia U. Reasonably priced at £150. It is a great phone.
