Hi

Does anyone have anything to say about NAVMAN gps’s? I’ve been looking at the NAVMAN GPS S200 Europe which I can get locally for about â‚¬100. What I can’t find out is if the car charger will work on 24v. The tractor units at my new job are pretty basic and only have the single 24v cigarette lighter socket.

I’ve got the S90 and the charger can be used in 12 or 24v, had mine for nearly 2 years now and have found it very good

Just about all SatNav’s, mobile phones, PDA’s etc work on 12V and 24V. They actually work on about 5V so the lead is a dropper.

I have an F20 quite happy with it.Navman say that you should start the engine before plugging in the lead and unplug before switching off the engine.

Got a Nokia phone with built in GPS? If so then Nokia have just released Ovi Maps for all GPS equipped Nokia phones. You get full world maps, turn by turn instructions and free traffic.
