Afternoon all,

Just wanted opinions on fastest and flattest route from lorca, Murcia to Caen France.

Route 1 via Zaragoza
Route 2 via Madrid.

I used to go Valencia Teurel Ricla Zaragoza Pamplona Irun, it has been a few years since I was doing this route regularly…I’m sure somebody with more recent experience will be along soon…

Good short cut that saves about 25 miles by turning off the dual carriagway from Teruel to save going all the way to Zaragoza,head to Almunia de dona Godina to Tudela.
At Pamplona head to Sunbilla on the 121 road.

Thanks fellas,

Went Zaragoza way in the end. Did 2 x 10s and a 9, sat on the 1630 Caen - Portsmouth as I write. The only few climbs were around the Zaragoza area and a obviously Pamplona - I run.

Think I’ll try Madrid way next.!!!

We use to load around Cartagena
Going Valencia Pamplona
Bordeaux n10 to poiters etc

We could do Caen Dieppe or rare occasion Cherbourg
In one 10 a9 and 4.5 hrs
We would leave day 1 around 5-9 pm and be on afternoon boats day 3 legally
Latest ever left was 10.20pm strict 9 off every night and just scaled in for 1830 Dieppe boat

well done m8 next time just b4 Zaragoza u see sign for almunia its left turn right opposite the wine factory follow ur nose as ur coming out garage on right just follow that road its all good now use to be very bad on suspension or do what lot of us use to do go Zaragoza then pull in the old bp which is now autogril as for france take your pick :smiley:

Miss Weighbridge out

N121a down aswell is 15/20 min quicker
Than a15 to Irun aswell
My mate was adamant the other year it wasn’t so he went that way I. Went n121a
Was waiting for him at bidart
