Only ever had damage or attempts at theft when parked in services or truck stops. Never on an industrial estate, you obviously park in incredibly stupid places.

Thats a rather sweeping statement. You can be parking in the same place for years then one night you could get your curtains done. You don’t know if travelers have moved in nearby since the last time you were there or maybe you just happen to be unlucky.
