Just wondering if anyone knows what I need to mount a TV on the mounting bar in the next gen scania? It doesn’t seem to have standard mounting point
looks like a standard VESA bracket already fitted. machine screws go through the 4 holes on the slider and screw into threaded holes on the back of the telly.
It’s not standard vesa… vesa are 75x75 or 100x100
This one is not as the spacing isn’t the same, the horizontal spacing is wider then the vertical

Ten mins with a normal bracket and a few tools should get an adaptor plate made up.
What spacings are the holes on the bracket ?
Search for a VESA mounting plate adaptor to see if its something you could use or adapt .
Bolt a bit of wood to it then screw a mount to the wood
I’ve got the tv thing in my S series, the bracket you want is 100mm x 100mm. The aerial isn’t brilliant but OK.
I know it’s been well over a year since you posted this but I just got a new scania last week and I’m damned how to mount the tv in. Can you let us know how you did it, photos maybe?

Would have though a TV was standard in a Scania? so you could have whatched something wile you where waiting for the wrecker to tow you in lol
