Mounting a tv in cab

Was wondering how many of you have your TV mounted permanently in your cab, and were you mount it, and what bracket did you use.
Just toying with the idea at the minute. It’s a PITA keep unpacking in the packing it away, plus i could do with the cubbard space.

in my stralis there is a coat hook behind the drivers seat which has a big bolt through it, I made a bracket out of a strip of metal I got from B&Q, then ran the cable round to the ■■■ lighter socket on the opposite side.

I honestly think he was lucky, as if he had successfully mounted it, he ran the risk of electrocution. Serious health and safety issues.

Above passager door, errm with blutack

Na same way as russell with tv brackets

Once mounted above bunk, fit interior mirror on screen so you can watch it whilst driving. Should relieve the boredom of motorways etc.

Best close the curtains ,

Good idea, especially if the sun is very bright.

find a plastic panel you could mount TV bracket to in cab, THEN buy that panel from your local dealer. then you can drill away to your hearts content fitting the bracket and when you give truck back, just replace panel with original undrilled version

I hung mine over the passenger door, I got a normal small bracket in Argos put a small bit of ply (or a bit of pallet) behind the trim that I was putting the bracket on and used a few self tappers to go through the bracket and the trim and into the ply. Easy job just took 5 mins.
