Sorry Toddy I was only mucking about. But in future when there are possibilities of spillage see if you have an appendage to plug the gap, even as a temporary solution.
I have a mental image of a load of folks ( dare I say window lickers, ehh probably not) staggering up stairs with water splashing all over the shop out of their bottles not knowing what to do.

No Probs Dave - I just thought the whole idea was silly, wasn’t possible to carry 2 bottles & put fingers over the top with the rest of the crap my missus had me carrying,
and yes - there was water everywhere as well as everything else that people had - coke, wine whatever.
