Morrisons, Wakefield.

Has anything changed at Morrisons rdc, Wakefield?
It’s been a long time since i barred myself from that [zb] hole.
Or is it still full of tossers who treat drivers like [zb]?

My wife came home with a photo frame on saturday, I said it looked nice, and then asked where she bought it.
She went very quiet. Eventually she admitted crossing the line and going in to Morrisons.
She is fully aware that i would see that as grounds for divorce.
But it’s ok as she got on her knees and made me calm down.

.

yes it’s much better since you showed them the error of their ways.
they say all is forgiven if you’ll call in to see them they’ll make it up to you

they’re one of the few RDCs i never had a problem with, i used to love going there

if you’re delivering to that ambient yard to the left of the exit gate, it’s even worse. Last time I was in, they were taking so long to process paperwork that they were parking us outside.

A bit annoying when you only deliver a couple of pallets.

i havne`t been there for a couple of years but it used to be a regular 2-3 times a week and it only got worse not better

its changed slightley, before you could go in anytime for any booking, now there keeping you too booking times with 30 mins grace, when you get into top yard they park you up still but call you out in order of booking time. if your more than 30 mins late they fail you and spin you round. paper work still takes forever but all you get is “its been checked drive”

Never had a problem with them to be honest.Deliver beer there though in the very early hours and they normally have you straight on a bay to get it off.Soon as it is off the paperwork is normally ready.
Must be a night shift thing.

Or if like me you go in as an agency driver working for a firm that is in there very regularly, you can let the next motor pick up your paperwork.

Same at Swan Valley.

But in answer to the original post, yes,it’s still full of tossers.

Ken.

didnt it have on the wall in that poxy waiting room on the chill side ,WE ENJOY MAKING YOU WAIT[someone will know the exact words], sums it up really.

Was last in there about six months ago. Only about six wagons in at the time and it still took over 3 hours to get tipped and out.

Had a do with the muppet in the office too. He clipped my paperwork on the ‘washing line’ in the window and walked off. I was stood just on the other side of the glass - he didn’t take too kindly to me thumping on the window and pointing out the length of time it took for the paperwork to be done. I mean, how long does it take to check a note that only has two lines on it!
