Well popspowell gave an account of 3 blokes first and last day. Not good lying to the blokes about new trucks then giving them seconds. Tell it like it is!
its money for me not trucks so don’t care if new or old as long as clean
Hi all,
Anyone recently started with Morgan Mclernon. Seen they are still advertising and looking to maybe get a bit of experience with them.
I was told by a Morgan McLernon driver that he had ran out of time on a bay at Fresh Direct Oxford, he pulled his card tipped at the Innovation side, then went round to Inspiration side, an hour and a half after telling me he was out of time he was still being tipped. If that’s the type of people you want to work for then good luck to you!
Big Truck:
PLENTY of sitting about Tesco DC on Boucher Rd Belfast.
I do dread arriving after a boat load have already made it the gate before me. Two speeds in that place, slow and bloody slow.

I was told they where all running 100% legal. tho they are just of the Phone i had no luck ive only had my Class 1 licence a year and a half an you need to have it 2 years before there insurance will even look at you typical they are all the same. tho ive sent an application form in for Sawyers transport hopefully somthing will come of that.
explains why the NI boys were flying along the A75 and the A66. One of the sods sat right on my back doors. my little motor was finding it hard on the hills

skids:
They are paying £500 in bank every week plus night out money. Its 6 shifts 1st week, 5 shifts 2nd week. They have 14 trucks at Telford working for CML but this will eventually double. So is night out on top of £500 or inc in , If not in that case they don’t pay any as stated, and I suppose that’s £500 for 5 or 6 shifts , would of thought it would be £600 for 6
It seems like some users have a thing against irish company’s saying most of them run bent alot of ■■■■■ it not the 80s anymore I now a few still run bent but most of them cleaned up there act and they don’t all run scanias. volvos and dafs are very popular too and man’s and mercedes are starting to get popular too
I have to go up to Morgan Mclernon tomorrow with my licence details hopefully get a start and get some experience in a unit, no firm would touch my until i had the Artic licence 2 years insurance companies are a joke.
Is there anyone on here who currently works for Morgan Mclernon and can tell me a bit about them are they good to work for and is everything all legal and above board? Thanks.

Not on for them but the work is mostly meat out of Ireland and then loads in for the supermarkets the curtain sider work will be mainly compost and pre cast concrete out and groupage back in. They do run legal now although you may still get pulled a fair bit, the police don’t seem to pay much attention to the ratings system have never heard of any problems with regards to the wages etc
