Moorlock Transport International - Photos & Info

Hi All,

Does anybody have any photos and stories they can share about Moorlock Transport International from Stoke.

Red & White Volvos, this firm was a splinter off from Comarts when it was sold to Unilever, some of the drivers and staff went with the origanal owner of Comarts.

Started with F88 - 290’s and moved onto F10’s & 12’s

Very smart looking trucks

look forward in anticipation

Regards
Ant

There are some photos in the 80’s thread.

Flying Foden,

Thanks for them photos, there great, it is amazing there are any photos of either Moorlock or Comart as I remember most of the time was spent lubricating !!!, as it was when I was on the road, long hours behind the wheel requires rewarding I always say !!!

Does anybody remember ‘The Monk’ can’t remeber his real name ■■, travelled with him in Spain once, while running with Dad, had a photo of him in his F88 on the Irun border, I’ll see if I can find it.

Ant

Keep posting the brilliant photo’s Ant.

I am afraid that the old eyesight is fading a bit young Willie. Tell me, was the bottom photograph taken on the docks at Anzio or was it the sea wall at Zeebrugge.
