“George drives a three axle rigid truck fitted with a tail-lift. His regular run is between a local industrial estate and a small regional airport. His load is normally palletised and. to help manoeuvre the goods, he carries a pump truck (pallet truck) on the vehicle. George used to be in the RAF and still has a keen interest in aircraft.
His vehicle is fitted with a speed limiter, digital tachograph and cruise control.”
Is it just me that finds this scenario completely ridiculous and irrelevant ?
What has an interest in the RAF got to do with driving ? Does he collect marbles too ? !!!

You are expected to ignore the irrelevant info and use the relevant info to answer whatever the question was

As it turns out, there was a picture of him unloading a pallet truck whilst looking up in the air. he was “distracted”
This should be fun !
Whoever writes the module 2 tests should be locked up .
Yeah, practice for cpc is a little strange at the end of it it’s designed to try getting you to think a bit about a situation.
I suppose that question is more politically correct than saying Dave the driver has a thing for blondes, and while unloading on a busy Essex high street, a leggy blonde with a cracking pair of headlights walks past and while checking her out, yelling nice arse luv, the pallet truck slips off the side of the tailift what could he have done to prevent this [emoji23]

LoL, see I would have thought that was just as ridiculous, if not a little more true to life !
I suspect the people who write this stuff gave never been remotely close to a truck beyond cutting them up at roundabouts. As its run by Pearsons, I wonder if it’s also written by them. If so, the above is really no surprise!
Just assume part 2 will be weird then once passed you can ignore it. Never fell off one due to looking upwards or due to the headlights of an XR3i being driven by a blond haired chav*.
Although have fallen off a few due to overweight pallets pushing me off, dodgy taillifts and the likes. And yes, it hurts.
