Is there a rule as such for having any missing. I’m not sure if it was a waiting room rumour but I heard you could have 2 missing together or 3 on one side. Anyone know of any solid info
Never mind the buckles, just make sure your landing gear’s wound right up.
ignore sure I posted on a different thread!!!
It’ll need defecting for sure.
If it’s a xxl type TRL that’s load securing then with any external restraint missing ie buckle missing its. Not doing the job so I would say all goods on board would require further restraints.
Just ask your boss to give you a flat bed.
Worry removed.

Just ask your boss to give you a flat bed.Much easier to work with…
I used one once where it had 7 missing together and it meant when the wind hit the curtain you could see the bed of the trailer in your mirror I think if I remember when I counted I had 11 out of 36 buckles still fitted ha.
2 were missing in a row but it was a new trailer with hanging straps sobload was well secure. Just wandering what legal stand point was.
Waiting room BS. Can be worth unbolting and rearranging them so they are all in a row, which they usually are, from another truck scraping along the side of the trailer. Obviously if the curtain flaps dangerously then you aren’t going to be able to drive without replacing them or sorting with some bungees.
