I started with 11 ton frieghter with a 20 ft flat which i used to strap a 20ft wooden houghton cattle box to got many a disaproving look when loading 9 or 10 cattle onto a wagon with little wheels :laughing:

My little puddle jumper… For only a 2.0 it goes a lot better than you’d expect actually!

You couldn’t put that picture on the proper flatbeddin thread, that sheet rolled up to the headboard really shows the tipper driver in you, ha ha.

Some good pictures here, we’ve just defleeted an R reg LDV convoy tipper. Absolutely hateful thing that was horrible to drive and would not die despite the ill treatment given it from any poor soul who had to drive it.

We’d had it for about 10 years, never really looked after it and just sold it for £550 not bad when it cost the firm £1100.

We had a Convoy. The boss blew it up (not like we celebrated too long afterwards) and finally put it to rest. The Transit engine and gearbox were great, but steering by Psychic medium and seat comfort by the american interrogation team were far from good!

I think i would have the best 3.5 tonner if i had the comfort and payload of a transit with sprinter engine / running gear/reliability .

This mini wheeler was to big for this bridge.
