Can a 24v micro be powered via the 24v plug in the cab? I can be in 2 different trucks through the week and as winter is bound I thought about this roadking.co.uk/mobile-12v-an … -oven.html
I have been reading that even a 24v will need to be wired to battery but cant quite make sense of it all

No, the wiring loom is not up to the job!
It needs heavier duty wiring!
But you could plug that in, possibly, because it isnt a microwave!

Bollox to that cold pasta and a flask of soup it is then!
Having fitted one of these into a vehicle before, I wired it directly from the battery with very heavy duty cable. Unfortunately though, I can not recall what the power requirements of this microwave was. Ordinarily, I would say definately no but if you look at the last picture, you can see an electrical jack plug on the end of the wire which makes you think that it can be used. Might be worth a go but I would use with extreme caution!!
