Has anyone out there any information on the Lumia range of phones , ie ease of use reliability etc .
I have the Lumia 640 running Windows 10. It’s not a bad little phone, well I say little, it’s got a 5" screen! Decent weight, not as many apps as the big 2, but more than enough to get you by. I like the way it connects with my tablet and laptop which are also on Windows 10.
As reliable as the other too big makes use is easy you get the same feel of use across devices be they top end or low end. All windows 10 handsets have replaceable batteries and sd expansion the 950 an 950 xl can take up to 1 Tb ssd. As for apps there are ample for most people unless you have to have every app under the sun. And your not tied to iTunes. For music you add from your own collection or get an account from groove (Xbox music) this allows you to download and stream as much as you like downloading to your phone means you don’t have stream while away. And as with Spotify you can listen as long as your subscription is valid. There’s a deezer app . The advantage with groove is that it will sync with your pc or tablet. The best thing to do is to go and try one in a shop or the 550 at 50 quid is a good bet and because of the way the windows operating system works it should fall over like many low end android phones
