I’ve been past there yard in kent a few times( can’t remember where exactly) and seen a nice collection of American wreckers in there .
Was in sittingbourne yesterday , in front was a broken down artic tipper being pulled by one of there wreckers . ( prob a kenworth)
Now I’m not really a fan of the American trucks but it did sound and look pretty impressive , esp as the tipper body was fully loaded and the old girl was pulling hard .
Must say I wouldn’t mind a breakdown if you got to ride in that truck
Got plenty of glances from passing pedestrians too …
The american wreckers are good until you have to get into a tight yard. Hough Green have a Kenworth T800 wrecker, when they bring something into the workshop they struggle a lot. Bet they eat the front tyres.
NY Recovery is another recovery firm based in snodland they use a lot of American trucks

They’re based at Flimwell, East Sussex (just!) on the A21.

Filling up in the garage,I saw a Yates four axle wrecker coming down Bluebell Hill at full chat, some sort of engine brake on, with an artic on the hook - the sound was unbelievable.
btw,I know nothing about American trucks!
Go on Mick Goulds website. Had pictures of trucks and even a forum.
