Mercedes Actros MP4 ran out of fuel ** HELP

Hi Guys,

My actros Mp4 ran out of fuel, now it’s cranking but not starting, what I’ve done so far.

  1. Put 100 litres of fuel
  2. Using the hand primer pump on the fuel filter housing (on the left side of the engine) - it seems like its not pulling fuel up there’s no resistance at all

Any idea on fuel in and out pipes maybe pipe clogged

Would appreciate some help to get this started up…

Thanks

Bleeding the fuel system used to be so straight forward, but this could be what you need to do:

Well…

Come on, what happened?

Don’t keep us all in suspense.

Or you could put some in before fuel light comes on as I keep telling the mrs

Spray some easy start/brake cleaner into the air intake whilst cranking it over.
If you do this on your own, you will need long arms

Fill fuel filter then try it. Just hard when its got air in pipes

I alwaus fill up at a quarter tank.No point pushing my luck
