The job is easy but dont believe them when they say u will be working an average of 42 hours u will be lucky if u do less than 55 and with it being a set wage u can see ur hourly rate going down and down till u might as well be on a rigid on days and earning the same

As far as i know (got offered agency work on this several years ago) it is a wagon/drag , with demount boxes … you have a short truck with 1 box and A frame drag, with 2 boxes on ? I think they have depots Chelmsford / Bristol … and somewhere Scotland. Never did it in the end.
Can’t be of much more help … only it does appear on the J.C website quite regularly ■■? There may be some-one on here who had done this on agency ?

Got offered class 2 work from their southampton depot,13hr days,0500 starts multidrop carpets,no drivers mates,paid 6 weekly,3 weeks worth in the bank after the 5th week,2 weeks later a cheque for the rest

my mate did a night on the agency with a bristol trunk…
he started at 6pm and wasnt leaving leeds till 12 midnight and the lorry had to be back at 6am for the day driver .
6am next morning the driver phones my mate " where are you i need my lorry "
" just leaving bristol see you when i get back "
an hour later… " where are you i need my lorry "
my mate … " how long does it take you from bristol "
then turns cab phone off.
I worked for them for quite a while feenix.
they have 3 trunks
chelmsford (one sets off at 3pm the other at 6pm)
bristol (same as above)
both are drive down, have break whilst being unloaded and drive back.
chelmsford very straight forward (drive in drive out of warehouse)
bristol you have to dissconnect lines, pull shunt button and drive into small warehouse and jacknife to get the rig around.
the 3rd is derby.
you do two trips to derby and it is demount boxes.
2 loaded down 2 empty back then repeat.
the trucks were ready for you 9 times out of 10
cant tell you anything about TM as it`s a different one now to when i was there.
i left because i got bored to tears.
