Hi guys, not sure if this is the best place to post but my cam position sensor is out on my 2000 817 atego and I cant find any info anywhere on how to find it and change it. It’s also a fixed cab[emoji2962]!

Merc will run fine without a cam position sensor.
It only tells the engine which stroke its on (ex or in) for starting
So once its fired it just follows the firing cycle.
Engine ecu can detect pressure differential on exhaust or inlet via unit pump feedback so WTF.
Cam sensor is just a waste of time really.
