help needed can any one tell me if dvla let you no when your licence is due for renal as my medical is due thanks paul 
They send a reminder several weeks before it’s due.

The last 2 medicals I have had DVLA have not sent me reminders !! So keep a eye on your expiry date.

I would’ve thought it was an automated process. I presume your address details on your licence are up to date.
Yes,They have my address!! everything else arrives on time apart from my reminder !! Im not to worried about it,as Im fully aware of when things are due for renewal and don’t/wouldn’t rely on anyone to sort my stuff out.I had my medical 1 month ago even though it’s not due until the end of Feb,just in case there were any issues,but all was good for another 5 years. 
There was a long thread on this subject about 8 months ago,Search back through the threads and you will find all the help you need.
The DVLA is not as efficient as they used to be and you don’t always get a reminder now,not in good time anyway.
The renewal date is on your licence 
, as for the DVLA they should send you the medical form in time, but looking at previous posts this might not be the case

This is the thread posted last year started by myself.
And to save yourself some hard earned, don’t go to your own doc for the medical. Look online for a local session, as it can be half the price.
Google is your friend.
