Medical Out Of Date Eye Prescription?

Hi all,
My prescription from my opticians has “out of date” written on it. This is because I’m overdue an appointment, but it’s a yearly appointment as I have a mole at the back of my eye which needs to be monitored.
Will this result in a issue for my medical? I know my optician will have to fill out my form relating to eye issues (myopic.)

Thanks in advance for the responses.

You could either go to the optician first and get that part of the form signed off, or go to the doctor first and ask the question. If the doctor can’t sign off the vision section, presumably it would be left blank for the optician.

Cheers. I have an appointment to see my optician the Saturday after my medical anyway.

Depends on the doctor, I had same issue.

Went to a drivers medical offered by a forum sponsor and doctor probably wouldn’t have noticed if I had sent my wife instead of me.

Asked my height, weight and wrote down my measurements. Didn’t ask for prescription.

I thought they were taking the ■■■■, but ironically they didn’t ask for a sample.
