470’s been ok touch wood, had mine for bout 20 months now it had had a new scania engine fitted begining of 2006 when last owner had it so although it done 1m kms now only 450000 kms are on new engine,thinking of changing turbo and bearings in turbo compounder when it hits 500000kms , had it chipped 18 months ago so it under a bit more strain, the fuel filters were allways clogged up when 1st got truck but change them every 4 weeks now which seems to help. The only problem we have had with my womans truck is oil light started to flicker every now and then but stripped all wireing back to ecu cleaned and checked it and its been ok since, hopefully for good!!!

143- 450’s were the best engine ever put in a truck “OH HAPPY DAY’S”
i had that for a while but i was on the wagon and drags mostly doing the post as you say happy days
