Only joking guys well done for getting a bargain, I might even have sent for one myself …if they had been a tenner.
If you’d bought two of them you could have sold one on eBay and had the other one gratis - or even turned a small profit (especially if you went for the £40 TomTom cashback)…
FTFY
I’ve yet to break the seal, then once it’s fired up it’s time to see if I can load the pocketgpsworld speed cameras onto it, and iirc it’s a PITA setting up proximity warnings for each speed cam type, and took me hours with the 950 go

No need to do all that, it already has speed camera location installed and free updates for life
I like the features on this, if it performs as good as my 5150 and with its added features I will be more than happy.
A guy in work just bought my 5150 for more than I paid for this 6000 and he made the offer with full knowledge of this situation.
So I am updating everything for him and part the deal is I keep it updated for him as he hates computers, I’m good like that

I’ve been having some trouble setting the correct vehicle dimensions, anyone else? Hoping it will be fixed when I’ve downloaded the updates
Yeah I did at first, then I changed vehicle type to car turn it off and on again, the changed vehicle type to truck then it let me put correct dimensions in.
What I’m finding hard to believe is that there is no security pin code, I had a £100 TomTom 10 years ago that had this feature, but can’t find in anywhere on this £400+ version, very disappointing.
Those people moaning about lack of Bluetooth have clearly never heard anyone speaking through one. Just try out voice activation while driving for details, it’s shocking.
For those of you that have to plan multi drop and know the addresses at the start of the day the mydrive website is excellent. You can set all your drops and sent it to your TomTom whilst sat in office looking through your paperwork. On android the mydrive app won’t allow multi stops. So saving the website to the home screen works best.

I used to use www.routefast.com. Always accurate and you can even get printout of your trip before leaving depot…

To be honest a security PIN code on a Satnav is about as much use as a chocolate teapot.
Just think about it for a moment - Scrote walking down the street spots satnav in the cab. How does he know whether or not your satnav has this feature, and if it does, whether you have set it? He does not know. He simply stoves in the window, grabs it and effs in the off direction. OK, when he gets home he discovers that he can’t immediately use it, but that’s not his intention anyway - he’s aiming to sell it for a few quid. So he either lobs it, finds out how to remove the code (it was trivially easy on the earlier TomToms) or simply sells it anyway, leaving the purchaser to deal with the issue. You are still missing one satnav and your window is still smashed.
The PIN code lock on e.g. a smartphone performs a different function - it is designed to protect the private information stored on the phone and also to prevent a thief running up a huge bill by using the thing. Phones still get stolen every minute of the day, and they still get sold on once the thieves have dealt with the security code.
Been offered 3 on here … .but more expensive than ebay.i would have bunged 50-75 ontop but not £170
Every trucker 6000 comes with lifetime maps. This is regular version not lifetime edition. Check the description on eBay before buying it clearly says 1 year free trafic…
Have a look at NavMan on eBay. I think he is based in lancs . Morecambe area. £109. With a camera . Had it 4 month and it’s been spot on for me. ■■?. Don’t be put off with his spelling mistakes on his Advert .
