Massive Sat Nav Price Glitch!

Well done guys. Trucknet at its finest.

Well done guys kicking myself I never jumped on the bandwagon. You’ve gotta doff your cap to Very for honouring the sale.

Never thought it will get such response when I first posted. It just feels good when you do something which benefits everyone around you…

Well if anyone wants to buy a Tom Tom 6000
I have one for sale

Well technically it’s second hand now and seeing as it cost you £149 I think £100 would be a fair price don’t you?

Paypal ok?

Seriously though what are you asking? (PM me if you want)

Anybody here who wants to sell a spare one, give us truckers a heads up before posting on eBay. much appreciated.
P.s willing to pay upto £300 either cash or via paypay

Is that all ,I am prepared to pay £310 hard cash or use PAY PAL , or give cash in the flesh to anyone selling in the West Midlands

Cheers Neil20! :sunglasses:

I’ve been having some trouble setting the correct vehicle dimensions, anyone else? Hoping it will be fixed when I’ve downloaded the updates

Yeah I did at first, then I changed vehicle type to car turn it off and on again, the changed vehicle type to truck then it let me put correct dimensions in.

What I’m finding hard to believe is that there is no security pin code, I had a £100 TomTom 10 years ago that had this feature, but can’t find in anywhere on this £400+ version, very disappointing.

Disappointed to find no Bluetooth hands-free capability. 420 quid and they couldn’t include that

Got mine.

Wishing I bought a load of them now

Bunch of something for nothings aren’t we. We just bought one because it was so unbelievably cheap, and I bet hardly any of us checked the specs of it.

I had a quick look at the instructions earlier to see how many memories it had (as in saveable locations) anyone got any idea?

That was one thing that really let the Snooper down. Only has 150. I have some really crappy drops saved in mine that bear no semblance to the postcodes on my notes, some I may never go to again, but they’re in my satnav just in case. I have to put any possible collections I might have to do in there too, as it takes our lot in the office an eternity to get you an address.

But I like to have all my regular drops in there too, as it’s good to be able to see your ETA and know how best to factor in your breaks etc.

If my latest microlise unit comes back and finally works, I’ll go ballistic if it’s got a satnav app on it.

You can add as card to increase its memory, or indeed it’s memories.

FFS, you lot have only just got them and already complaining! :open_mouth:

Yes you should have checked the specs, as it doesn’t have Bluetooth phone support. I suspect they assumed that most vehicles now come with this and put the money into other things like a case. Opp’s sorry, it doesn’t come with that either!

Well the truck Hella adapter will be useful…
Nope, not got one of those either! :grimacing:

Mines been delivered today and even tho I put deliver to next door if not in… The Yodel driver decided to leave it under a bush on a open shared drive way right next to a main road :imp:
At lease I got it tho

What a bunch of saddos with your Truck sat navs. :unamused:

Only joking guys well done for getting a bargain, I might even have sent for one myself …if they had been a tenner.

If you’d bought two of them you could have sold one on eBay and had the other one gratis - or even turned a small profit (especially if you went for the £50 TomTom cashback)…

Ive just added one of my customer POI files that has over 700 POI’s, so the memory seems ok so far!
