Ok got a new truck a man is there only one setting for the exhaust brake or is it adjustable.
I’m not aware that its adjustable…I always turn mine off, it nearly throws me out the seat it’s that harsh!
Its either on or off, until the shaft snaps in the exhaust then it
s just off!
The one in mine doesn’t seem that strong does it need to be at a certain rev oh did I say it’s auto

Override it, drive it in manual and choose the lowest gear/highest revs (in the blue) it will accept as you slow down, i don’t usually engage it with exhauster on below 7th gear as the snatching is too harsh as the lowers gears engage.
Used well you’ll hardly use the service brakes at all except for final approach.
Using manual override for normal driving to control the gearboxes excesses can see useful fuel gains too.
Ok cheers for that will give it a go when I’m back in work
