Magazine Interview

If NMM thinks it’s ok to self promote then so do I

Whoever you are, good lead anyway, it’s an interesting story, I reckon they could’ve done better with the pictures though, the bloke they used is a proper little fat [zb]er

Oh my goodness, what a meaning less story.
Tomorrow I am meeting up with fellow Brit’s from Burlington ON. They immigrated 40 yrs ago, and would be ashamed to be associated with you, for writing such crap.
You are not the only people that have made a move, not the first or last.
If you are successful, why don’t you spend time helping those who may be struggling?

Please do not compare your post to nmm, there is no connection what so ever.

totally agree, this man is a wind up if you read his other posts else where,he blows both ways to suit himself, what an idiot you would think he was a pioneer, when he is nothing but just a bum on a seat earning money fot the company he is working second hand for and that will be on the cheap like the east indians he moans about, bearing in mind they were in canada before he was and they are canadian pasport holders.

Actually…I found the article very informative,
Whatever happened to freedom of speech?,also why can’t ex-pats tell their story?
It doesn’t matter whether they expand on their tales or tell it how it all came about,we all are immigrants to Canada and in actual fact it was the Red Indians that had the right to dwell in this fine country,so all you Canadians that have no Red Indian heritage fall into the “Immigrant” category. :unamused:
Another point is that there are no such people as" East Indians".They either originate from India or not at all.
Oh and do you not know to to spell…I believe that “passport” has two s’s.
The british ex-pats actually do contribute to the economy here and are skilled in what they do and whatever they can do to enlighten other people on their lives here and experiences they have had its good knowledge to have.
I say good luck to you “On The Road Again”,keep up the blog. :unamused:

You don’t get Dave at all do you

What he does on the forums is get his point over, if you don’t agree with him that doesn’t make him wrong and it certainly doesn’t give you the right to abuse, which is what he gets from a lot of people, they cannot beat him with a constructive comment, so they start with the name calling, as soon as he post the usual people automatically disagree like a bunch of petulant children, it’s why I’m so glad they don’t come on this forum :unamused:

You make assumptions about his job, yet know SFA about it, you know that says a lot more about you than it does about him :unamused:

The article was an interview, he was asked questions, that’s how interviews work you know, the writer has an idea of how they want the story to go and they ask the questions that will take them there, I know, I do it all the time, I’m that good that I reckon I could interview you and turn it around to make you look intelligent

Well maybe if you paid any attention at school “magazine interview” would suggest someone asked questions, I answered. That’s the way it normally works :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:
So why would I try and compare myself to NMM  Where did I ever claim I wrote and got the piece published
So maybe if your “friends” from Burlington knew what you are really like then I would not be the only one they would be ashamed of :bulb:

Thanks Freddy and while we are on the subject of spelling I wonder if someone could tell pope john paul that meaningless is actually all one word not meaning less :unamused: :unamused:

I doubt it very much   Thanks nmm, that’s why you write and I get interviewed

A while ago this forum was locked because you couldn’t discuss things without petty squabbling and personal attacks, I strongly suggest you stop this now before it gets locked again permanently.

Surely you are all grown up enough that you can have differing opinions without the insults ?

That’s what I thought when I saw ‘vastly exp’ and ‘Paul Johns’ posts… disgraceful. The guy does a positive article for a magazine, and the jealousy is disgusting.

Yeah whatever, it’s ok for them to personally attack me but not for me to respond wtf is that all about? I suppose Phil came running telling tales just like he does with Dave Foder at hit and run!!!
It wasn’t meant as an insult, I merely suggested he remove Dave Foders ■■■■■ from his mouth before casting aspersions on others.

I found the article promoted a very bad image of the job out here
as its clear from the picture that the trailer is seriously overloaded :open_mouth:
If that bloke in the pic was to be taken off the load I am sure the trailer would be more than legal on its weights

The pictures were taken from a very bad angle. I blame the camera man

There was only one angle that could of been used from looking at the pic and that would of been WIDE angle

Here we go again :unamused: :unamused:

How about you censor the idiot that made the rude comments in the first place, then nobody needs to stand up for themselves :bulb:

Vastly experienced made an all attack on the OP, that post is still there for all to see, it needs deleting, you can’t have one rule for one and another for everyone else, vastly experienced is in clear breach of site rules so where’s the threat of premod to him and him alone

Instead we get threats that you’re going to close down the whole forum  And you accuse the posters on here of being immature :unamused:

Blimey I thought the only reason that Canada existed in it’s present form was because it was a British colony that we fought the French for to get it.Then the Americans to keep it and then they kicked us out and called it their own and now won’t let us back in when we want to go there without jumping through hoops and having to take another driving test to drive in what is/was/should still be,effectively, our own zb country even allowing for the fact that it’s (a lot) easier to get a job there now than it was in the 1980’s when I wanted to go.

The way I was told it by the immigration authorities at the time if,in the unlikely event that we did give you a work permit, the job has to stay advertised until/in case a Canadian wants it. :open_mouth:
