Was coming out of Madrid thurs 1600hr, to be told to get off N1 or A1 whatever they call it now. So went on N2, same there? ban 1600hr - 2200hr. So went x country to Guadalajara. What was that all about and is it a regular thing? Could understand if a sunday or Friday. Confused 
these bans happen quite often on the day preceding a bank holiday, last Friday was a holiday so the bans begin leaving Madrid and other areas during the previous afternoon
