Could anyone tell me if Macon is still open on the weekends ?
Should be around that area on sat, and believe the mistral is closed !
I believe Macon has been tidied up ?

Not sure about the weekend but I popped in for a shower/lunch a few weeks back and it was tidy enough

That’s in comparison to other European truckstops though.
In comparison to an average UK truckstop, it scores quite high.
I went in there recently with all the bad reports knocking about in my head. So was pleasantly surprised to find it’s quite nice really. First time I’ve been in years and it’s now what I would describe as fairly standard for a French stop.
Only problem with macon is commie bloc making a pigsty of the carpark and showers other than that i like it, generally get a decent crowd of brits in there for a few light refreshments at weekends and foods reasonable

is it still there ? im retired now but ive got great memorys of that place.
