M60(S) sliproad onto M56

Have they re-activated the 7.5t limit on this slip road?

They restricted it to 7.5t back in 2008, when they removed the 7.5t limit, they left the 3.5t limit on the outside lane, but now they’ve took the ‘black’ off the 7.5t part of the signs, so now it appears to be a 7.5t limit on the inside lane and a 3.5t limit in the outside lane.

I’m following my Tesco Risk Assessment, which I must follow on pain of being told every iwasonthebalconyandjustmissedtheferry story, dismemberment and death…

Didn’t notice the sign, been painted over for ages…

But seriously, why drop the weight limit? It’s not like they’ve replaced the bridge with a smaller one or anything?

I don’t know what’s happened, as you say, it’s been painted over for ages, looks like the paint has now expired.

There’s actually 2 signs, and both no clearly show the inside lane to be a 7.5t limit :open_mouth:
