If you have the tag swing into the “overwidth” lane and you won’t have to stop completely.

There´s no time limit though, right?
That I can’t answer Stevie. I do know that if you pay for overnight parking at the services you merely show your voucher to the toll attendant the next day and it’s free. Whether that’d work after being weekended I don’t know.
Having said that it’d be pretty pointless hanging onto your free ticket as you’d have to go through one toll booth or the other to carry on your journey.
Ok, thanks, I see .)

What I cant understand is people who pay for the toll then stop at the services.Sent from my SM-G903F using Tapatalk
You can’t do that. If heading North or South you come to the services before the toll booths.
I think the word “then” is being used with a slightly different meaning here - the the question being posed is not “Why do people stop at the services after paying for the toll,” rather it is “Why do people opt to pay the toll to save time, but waste the few minutes saved by stopping at the services?”

Doesn’t often save you much time in my experience unless there is a notable problem on the M6.The toll is 7 miles longer, with a dead stop in the middle, I save 10 minutes on my trip back not using the toll when the M6 is clear of incidents and roadworks!
7 miles longer?? The distance from J12 to Corley Services is 32 miles via the M6, about a mile longer if you use the M6 Toll.

^^^What he said, looking at it, I should have worded it differently.
