Everyday i come off the M6 at Junction 5, and everyday without fail people use the outside lane of the roundabout to head north on the A452, this means they are using the outside lane to take 3rd exit !!
It clearly states on the floor in massive white letters A452 N in the right hand lane only, E & W is the left lane.
So if anyone is coming off at the junction and uses the wrong lane please dont act suprised or flash your lights as i indicate and start moving into your lane … IM MEANT TO BE THERE …YOUR NOT !!!
Trucks are the worst offenders, you can see them trying to race you around the roundabout trying to get up the inside, only to get cut off by my trailer.
Remember A452 Northbound is RIGHTHAND LANE ONLY !!!
Most people do that me included, it helps the traffic flow, if you know they do that whats the problem, use both lanes otherwise you’ll have em backed up on the M6, 2 lanes use um!!!
that blokes having a laugh
when you come off the M6 at junction 5 at a busy time
YOU CANT SEE WHATS WRITTEN ON THE ROAD
COS THE WORDS OR DIRECTIONS ARE COVERED UP BY CARS AND LORRYS
if you have a problem mate
do what the others do

The problem is if you apply that type of anarchy on roundabouts,as opposed to the way the highway code taught everyone from the time they were old enough to drive, left lane left and straight on,right lane only to turn right, except in the case of dual carriageways when the right lane can also go straight ahead, sooner or later someone is going to get hurt especially in the case of truck v car or truck v motorbike accidents.
I see this all the time at a roundabout near me (in a car), it’s usually impatient people racing up the outside and then cutting in when exiting the roundabout. It’s quite annoying and I have done it myself, however if it’s me they are trying to cut up I just beat them off the line and force them to cut in behind me, they shouldn’t be there after all. I’ve heard many a horns tooting when someone gets cut up.

Reminds me of the roundabout at dartford j1a m25. A complete free for all at the best of times with traffic going all ways from all lanes.
Whenever i come off the M25 anticlock to go M2 Coastbound every time without fail a car comes up in the outside lane clearly marked Dartford/M25 Tunnel and cuts across into the M2 lane, sometimes they just make it, sometimes they almost drive into the side of my truck, but its always my fault because im following the correct lanes
The ones that cut in front then queue in the middle or right hand lanes behind the other numptys, so i always end up passing them again in the empty left hand lane going up the M2, just at the right time for the lights to change so im clean away while the numptys fight it out amongst themselves

The junction has had 2 lanes since it was built to go up the Chester road, just because some numpty in the planning office has decided to change the layout probably because he gets held up there, is no reason to change, if you know everyone uses it, wheres the problem, no one will get hurt if you use your mirrors, just accept it it works well.
instead of complaining on here, a letter to the planners office pointing out that traffic would flow better if you use two lanes.
M18/A1 junction used to be like that. Now clearly marked for southbound A1 to go right at roundabout for M18 in either lane. There are still some though that can’t grasp the meaning of the big white arrows on the floor
