How high are you running in your double decker? 16ft Bridge in Holmes Chapel but if your lower than that you will be fine. If higher follow signs for sandbach and through to Middlewich then back towards m6.

Off at 17, through to Congleton By pass then back out towards Holmes Chapel, going through Sandbach to Middlewich and back on is a drag now its 20 all the way through the centre, no low bridges either.

You can get a 16’3" under that or so I’m reliably informed by a friend.

If that’s the case get off at 17 go through sandbach up to Middlewich and turn right at the lights this will take you back to j18. You can go the Congleton bypass was someone else has mentioned but sometimes the a34 is closed at night too.
