Shots have been fired at a car near the M5 motorway in the Bristol area, according to reports.
The incident happened on the Portbury Hundred (A369) near the M5 junction 19 for Portishead at around 09:30 BST.
The road remains closed in both directions.
Avon and Somerset Police would not comment on the incident but said motorists would not be able to access Portishead from J19 for some time.
Seems an odd one police shot him 5-10 times then dragged him out of the car and tried to resuscitate him

They’re obliged to. Even if the clown has just attempted to kill them they are duty bound to attempt to save his life.

Not the sort of vehicle you’d associate with a tooled up (wannabe) gangster. My money is on it being related to the recent spate of chemicals on the motorways.

Yep exactly… the real criminals don’t drive around in blacked out motors when all it does is attract every copper on the road to them.
I passed that junction at about 7.30 this morning and saw a couple of cop cars on the hard should somewhere near. They looked like they were waiting for somebody. Marked X5’s [emoji6]
