Who in there right mind thought it was a good idea to make M1 junction
10 to 13 hard shoulder running and only do half the job. Fast forward 5 years
and we will cause more disruption and build the central reservation barrier
which we forgot to build with the rest of the work we done 5 years before.
You really need a picture for that to have any impact, that’s waaaaaayyyy out of my neck of the woods to be able to relate to.
When you realise that the aim is to cause as much disruption as possible and to make road journeys as difficult as possible, to deter the road use option it all makes sense.
All road works are just done to keep people employed and working. Imagine how many 1000 plus people would be out of work if there was no road works to do.
Plus be planned same as ever by a non motorway driver who lives in Scotland more than likely.
Who thinks it’s a good idea to shut motorways over night fair enough has be done I guess. But also on same nights shuts the most logical route to be used for the diversion
Here is a picture of the barrier they are replaceing. The one
they should of done when they done hard shoulder running.
Rumour has it there were 7 people working on that stretch yesterday, though i only saw 4
