M way and son transport

Evening gents

I’ve been fortunate enough to be offered a job with these guys , I’ve done bulk work before but more feeds and grain…

If anyone has any genuine information on the work done and what sort of week I will expect ie… Hours , places , loads that would be brilliant

Thank you for taking the time to reply

Those shiny wagons won’t pay for themselves. …and rural Devon is not exactly a hotbed for lucrative tipper work…

The did do a fair bit of clay out of devon up to stoke to a tile company . And most of those shiney trucks aint that new

I seen on heading up the A9 towards Inverness with grain I presume so they certainly get about!

Lots of work in/out of Teignmouth port.

What a strange comment

If you get a steel body trailer you will do some scrap loads. Most are alloy though so I think it’s only a small % of their work. They also have a handful of walking floors.

Over yonder hill, once less roses under claret moon.

Surely if you have been offered a job with them, then any normal person would have asked all relevant questions at the interview?

You’re welcome.

The fact that you had no real informative replies only means that no one on here knows first hand. Unfortunate as that is, it is as it is. And a few non sensical replies is better than no replies at all.

That’s as is…

Very much a family run Co, started by Merv Way early 70’s with 1 lorry and with latest acquisition now approx 140ish.
All bulk work couple of walking floors dozen or so scrap trailers quite a few agg but most are bulkers.
Good kit and looked after. There are some drivers who are on local only and home every night, most are out all week.
If you like tipper work then no worries working there.

They do have an impressive fleet I must admit and usually spotless too.
