The Spanish World Cup official who did the presentation of the cup to the Spanish woman footballer,.and then kissed her on the lips is currently facing a charge of…sexual assault.
Now in my view the kiss was at best over familiar,.and at worst innapropriate …but a sexual assault ffs?
I hope common sense prevails here and that the woke pc brigade are not (as usual) appeased.
They won the World Cup ffs, the guy was Spanish, he was a big fan, he got carried away with the occasion and the excitement.
A strong and genuine apology,.an explanation, and a bouquet of roses would have sufficed,… but why use common sense these days, when you can make an attention seeking drama out of it.
I tend to agree with Rob Roy.It would be inappropriate in some circumstances to give the lass a kiss like that but he and she were excited by the result of the game.I don’t doubt that she was surprised but she would have recoiled in horror at the moment if she was truly offended. She wore a smile,(maybe a grimace?) at the time judging by the picture.
reading between the lines… it was a load of people on social media that kicked off as she was celebrating her win and then his people came and asked her to do a video with him because of it.
looks like to me that she jumped on the band wagon to do her bit for women rights
Err, isn’t this social media? I notice you not bothering.
However, before you jump on me, I agree with you wholeheartedly on this issue, she had her arms round him for goodness’ sake, definitely not pushing him away, and it seems that when she noticed the passing bandwagon she showed her sporting prowess by jumping on it. I hope he gets a full clearance, should never have got to court in the first place.
They were both caught up in the excitement of the moment. They both embraced.Fine.He should not have locked lips and settled for a cheek to cheek contact. However there is no doubt she is milking it.
