Lowboys, Tarps, Cuts & Bruises

This last trip, Winnipeg - Keenesburg CO, Arkansas City KS - Mississauga ON, Brampton ON - Winnipeg MB, about 4700 miles in 10 days.

A steady little trip after a delay over an RPC for the crane, the crane weighed a smidge over 30t & then I loaded a 2t Jet engine for Lester B Pearson airport in Toronto, I then ran 8 miles to Brampton & loaded 24t of a kind of chipboard which is where it went wrong & I ended up laid out after My snipe bar cracked Me in the jaw & then shoved My head into the load rendering Me sparko on the deck, oh what fun We had

Nasty cuts and bruises mate but very good examples of nice tight sheeting

Ouch! I’ve a much easier week ahead of me. I’m bobtailing down to the utility trailer factory in Atkins, Virginia (about 1850km) away, collecting a new trailer, reloading it somewhere or other and then back.

JC , Get your self home, hot bath then bed early. Hope you have better week next week !!!

keep on knocking yourself about like that and we aint gonna see any more photos…

Nice piccies, shame you hurt yourself.

I’m liking the tarp bungees, seems a lot less hassle than roping.

wanna take it easy in your old age lol

Good photos as usual  … Ouch!.. look’s sore mate, i think shaving would be painful (I’m talking about your chin not your legs  ) … i like the millipede truck photo at the end, where did you take that and why so many axles?

Col :grimacing:

That thing with loads of wheels was in Watertown along with four more like it.

I am becoming The Dangerous Brian of North America after falling in a bin & busting a rib 6 weeks ago & now the snipe bar incident. Its still sore & black & blue ffs.
