It’s inside the boundary so it would have to have been DVS compliant to at least the minimum 1 star rating. According to the news report, the driver wasn’t arrested at the scene, which suggests it was a genuine no-fault accident. Not that this is much consolation to the child’s family.
True but no arrests yet doesn’t usually mean much.
I looked at the new DVS requirements coming in this year and I don’t think our new 73 plates will be fully compliant for DVS. Without looking into it again.
i cant seem to find what the star system relates to ie what you have to have to be 3 star or better. All i seem to find is add on systems that will get you a 5 star rating apparently and seem fairly standered
Oh just checked and 73’s are 3 star rated but the older 72’s 71’s and 70’s will be zero start rated. We only have 11 trucks currently that will be compliant in October this year.
