Wish I could say the same for their beer! 
I went to university in Manchester and got my first (HGV driving) job there. Also worked there for many years agency driving after a brief spell in London.
I remember Hydes Anvil ales and…buying a pint of mild for 45p 
yeah it is still going hydes anvill brewery and doing well veryy well it is also brewing beer for boddingtons the cask small well kept brewry
