Your load will be groupage, and chargable on dimensions and floor space, some use the amount of pallet space.
In the collection, it may involve a sub contractor taken it to a main hub and reloaded on to a UK bound trailer.
Check for damage before signing and scrutinise the insurance details.

I’m guessing this load will need a step-frame / low-loader trl

That’s a fair point Driveroneuk, so I’ve edited the main title and moved the whole topic to the Euro forum in the hope that it helps the OP. 
You need a step frame, we normally pick them up from jesi.
