Look at this clown

What happened to flogging the spare tyre or some diesel ? :open_mouth:

Just watched it, thought yup top Muppet, but that’s the thinking mentality of your Modern 30 something driver, They think there owed everything, and shouldn’t have to do much, Hence why the job is were it is,with top quality staff like that, there’s no hope…

He wouldn’t get away with if he drove for a smaller low profile firm ,he may find his car on its nose .

If he worked for my gaffer or many others I know it wouldn’t be his car on its nose it would be him on his nose looking directly at the floor.

If there’s any damage to the trailer done like that it could be classed as criminal damage that the driver could be made to pay for couldn’t it ?

I do know some rum folk ,I’d like to think I wouldn’t ever employ someone like him

Yup, that’s criminal damage all right. Still, at least the biggest he’ll be driving from now on is a bicycle

As for being shorted on night out money, I’ve had bosses who wouldn’t pay it. As the old joke has it, “find the umbrella”.

Having seen a trailer dropped on its knees, the unit comes out like a bullet from a gun if loaded. Lucky he didn’t hurt his back.

the shame of it is these clowns seem to find an endless supply of jobs, and always seem to get good gear to work with, anyone can drop a trailer, most people do it accidentally, I don’t suppose he was brave enough to confront the man that disputed the payment.

Corrected for you.

As someone who doesn’t sleep in trucks - is it usual to get paid this money if you go home and sleep in your house?

If you want to wilfully vandalize your employer’s property - why post it online? And who does this at the start of a global depression when so many men are out of work? And so many more are going to be out of work? Shocking behaviour.

What I’ve been told from a former Jenks driver if you park up within 20(? may be less) miles of home you loose the night out money.

Poor little princess didn`t get his night out money, bless.
If I was his boss, I would show him a good night out.

…Some places around the world - you could expect to be shot dead for “deliberately damaging other vehicles”…

The Police must have some kind of “rapid response contingency” in this country - should a citzen decide to run amok in one vehicle of any type against another?

Why would you even think of posting something like that, doesn’t look good on a CV does it??

Snowflake generation seem to want to fall over themselves to post videos of all kinds of incriminating on the latest social media platform. They’re then shocked when there’s real world consequences that no amount of likes can put right.

Anyone know his name?

Yes. He’s called ■■■■

What an absolute [zb]

Why would he expect to be paid night out money if it’s not a night out.

He won’t need to worry about anyone paying him anything now.Because he won’t get another job and the dole ain’t going to pay him either. :open_mouth: :unamused:

eagerbeaver:
A good stiff spine is something to behold. IF he was told that nights away from base are paid & he manages to get home, then pay the man.

If not, then hauliers deserve everything they get in my view. Hopefully he left the lines on too.

Nights away from base are paid ‘expenses’ in the form of night out money. The job meant he could get home in this case instead.Don’t get your logic.

Is it just me or is there a clue in the nose ring? Who would employ something like that? I know judging books and covers and all that but ffs! Can just imagine his road etiquette eh.

As for dropping a trailer on its knees in the way and for the reason shown… I’m missing how that achieves anything.

I know from experience it can achieve something when a recalcitrant East Anglian yard shunter is dropping the trailers silly high with the legs wound into the ground I’d guessed deliberately.Meaning having to wind a heavy trailer down in crawler every night.
Even better when they phoned our guvnor moaning and he said you drop yours at the right height in the yard for collection and we’ll do the same for you with the one we’re dropping. Those without steel suspension knowledge won’t understand that argument and standoff. :smiling_imp:
