I thought it was my computer, but have just read that somebody else is also having trouble loading this site. Quite often my computer times out before the page is reached.

Sorry, I only use this page on this site. Didn’t realise that there was a Proper Place for a question about this site. 
I have had the same issue for a couple of weeks. I am missing out on so much, though I dont know what.
Same here got new phone and thought it was that
Most times I have to click on a link on the Facebook page to get access but sometimes even with access it sometimes times out
You just need to have patience-it loads eventually-several years on containers taught me that!
There again us ‘old fuddy duddies’ have got time on our hands
