R Jimski

Hi all ! Hi Charlie one Mappo rang me last night he now holds the record( unless you know different ) for loading a 20 foot
Container think when I last spoke to him last night it was up to 10 hours and then he text me I think it must have been 11 or even 12 hrs!!! I said he gets all the good jobs!! He said he had trouble finding the place up a little lane it was just a “crack in the bush” well that’s what he said  :unamused: :unamused: I think he’s still missing!!
R Jimski

Hi All
Knowing Mappo that lane is probably the M6 & he was loaded in the hour & nobody woke him up until they wanted to lock the gates.
Cheers Rich

Yo Jimski!
3 V16 Gennies gone, 2 to go. As I go home on the 12th I dont think I will see the end of the job, thank god.
We’ve just taken 4 silencers down from the roof, each one weighing 300KGs plus the link tubing which is 6mm thick and 250mm diamenter. Monster pipes! I’ll be glad to go home. Kackered! Hecho polvo! (Done to dust!)

Hey Gazzer I dunno mate you and Mappo hanging the jobs out!
Big job then Gary! Similar pipe and stack as the old “Joker” then mate  bet you’ll be glad to see the back of it :unamused:
Well lads still nothing heard from Mappo then, must still be lost in the bush ! Up the leafy lane in Kent.
R Jimski

gazzer:
Badger gets about more than he did way back then when he was confined to Dept.76!

I’m just draging this little motor out for my next restoration project:

They look easy enough to move Gazza what’s the problem then… get a sack truck!!
Filters alone must wiegh enough !!! :unamused:

R Jimski

What a cracking job that was.  :sunglasses: :sunglasses:
Jimski mate, i was there for 10 hrs in total.
Started loading at 1030 and finished at 2030 ( that,s 8-30 pm in case you,re confused Charlie   )
As Jimski said it was a poxy place to find…a small breakers yard hidden down a small driveway off a narrow
lane in Orpington.
The load consisted of car doors, bonnets, seats etc and engines and gearboxes loaded to the roof and all handball.
No " elf & safety " ere., wish i,d taken some pics but like Tribsa said i was busy kipping. :unamused: :unamused:

Hi Tony,
I see you still get the good jobs then !, Have you still got the box on ? if so could you have a look in the back for a nearside front wing for Charlie’s Morris Minor please :unamused:
Hope you are keeping well, see you in August.
Regards
Richard

I,d already thought of that Richard, but it was going to be a surprise for Charlie.
Oh well the cats out of the bag now, so here it is. Loads of spares here for ya Charlie,
or maybe invest in some filler and a can of paint out of your pension in time to drive it to the August do.

Blimey Tony, thats in better nick than mine. When can I pick it up?
I feel that my luck is about to change. With friends like you and Richard,a man
doesn,t need enemies eh? What a cracking motor! Regards Charlie

If you are quick Charlie, you might just be able to close the deal on the wobbly box behind so you could then be of “No fixed abode” and move to a much better part of Alton. Could be the start of a whole new european adventure, Europe revisited, 21st century style! If you do obtain the delights of mobiledom, bring it with you in August and then you will be able to take everyone up on their drink offers and sleep it all off in the car park. Mind you, you might end up with some company…and not necessarilly the type that you would like!
