Yes Pat and Jim Ski attended and they both behaved although before he left Jim had a call from Mappo and he had a go at me for putting things on here about him

Now then Pat i did think about putting mappo in touch with a money lender so he can get back on line and defend himself anyway Fergies harder on him than you and Maggie D infact everybodys 'avin a go.

Hi to all, spoke to Mappo yesterday sends his best to everyone, says he’s been signed off work for a while with a list of things wrong I remember one thing ended in …itis, but gonna try and get his putor back this weekend to tell you all himself, get well soon Tone.

Who can remember the following hauliers. Eric Baker. Sea Route Ferry.R and A Transport. Jim Squibb. Southern Transport and Shipping(STS). Curtiss and Phillips.Robert Armstrong. Transport. Jameson Europa. to name but a few.If there is anyone out there still alive who had anything to do with these companies,you must be as old as me! IWorked for quite a few of these over the years.Cracking times.

Hi . I remember STS very well, I used to sub of of them as an owner driver… Did a few runs for them from Sony down near bridgend south wales to athens via ancona to patras the patras back to barri reload steel turin.
Also remember Mr Baker, I believe he still has the same yard but is selling vans from there now.

Also done a bit of traction for Jameson Europa out of Pompey Docks, subbed of LTS at eastleigh for several years doing the JCBs out of Rocester to spain .

I have great memories of running out of Portsmouth to Le Havre and Caen in the late 90’s for Brintons Carpets. Anyone still doing that run to Spain and Porrtugal? I loved Portugal and it’s people. Miss driving my self now retired, but go out with hubby now and then in the UK.

Hi Scania Lady. You must have be doing the carpet run for Euro PSL. I was subbing of them for a few years when Chris Yeomans was transport manager there upstairs in the portacabin.

Hi Jim i thought pat would be sinkin a few as it’s St Paddy’s day. Horry ain’t got time to look that’s my job but to find a good one aint gonna be easy cos if he does it it will have to be himaculate if you know what i mean.
