Bloody hell…I feel a right prat now.
All I did was to pass on the news from what I thought was a reliable source.
Fantastic that I was wrong, I,m so sorry.
Marriner…when you speak with John, please give him my apologies
and give him my regards…thanks, Tony.
Hi again Tony and super news that Johnny Lee is alive and well. You don’t have to feel like a prat mate, leave that to the bloke that told you. Just remember you can always tell when a MacNess is lying because…their lips move! Anyway I’m glad that his good old buddies such as Bingo Dollery and John Smith etc. will have to wait a while yet to see him again.

Well done marriner, John looks well. Great news.
Apologies once again for posting that crap in the first place.
No problem mate it was a shock to me to find out as these old school boys showed me the way in life and in driving and i have the upmost respect for them
so it was nice to see him today !!!
Hiya marriner and many thanks for the good news on John Lees well being. When I read Tonys’ post my heart sank a few feet but thanks to you is back in place. Been a few years since I was in Johns company in fact I think it goes back as far as Domodossola. We were there with Bingo, Winkie and a few others and we may have even had a few drinks in the bar in the Square. Please give him my regards the next time you see him. Thanks, Nobby:-)
Hi Nobby, really sorry to upset your old ticker like that mate.
As I,ve already stated I can’t apologise enough for ( innocently) posting that bollox.
I expect Johns had a really good laugh about it all.
I hope you,re keeping well yourself Nobby…Keith says hello…Tony.
Hi all thought i would rescue us from page 2. spoke to chippy today he is like a dog with several Di–s if you know what i mean he has been told he can collect his model on Sunday. You have made him a very happy boy jimmer i bet he don’t sleep till then.
Hi Kev.Well done for the rescue. That’s only about the second time that’s happened. While I’m on here can anyone throw any light on this Old Boys Coach trip. How many days?where are we going? Why? Who is driving? Is he any good? Where are we stopping for lunch? Are we getting a discount on the ferry? Can we still get a bottle of whiskey for a pound? These questions need answering. Regards Charlie
Charles me old mate have you got a valid passport for a start, it was proposed Richard Green drove as he is apparently the one with the coach so that is only fair. We eat where we get to as I suspect we will have to make frequent stops for weak bladders and the like, in the case of a flat tyre all will be expected to assist the wheel change (just like old times), but in your case you can put the kettle on and make the tea if that’s ok with you.
There seemed to a lot of interest when this trip was first muted but seems to have floundered somewhat, we need a leader with plenty of enthusiasm to push this forward, in the mean time I could be treasurer so any one interested please forward to me a non returnable deposit of £100 to secure your place (50 seats only). Horry will secure the ferry crossing as I know he is in conversation with young Phil Garrett (remember him) who has implied a very reasonable rate for the crossing.
As for whisky for a pound Charlie I am sorry to inform you its gone up to £1.50 nowadays so you will have to bring a little extra spending money, suppose you could borrow a sub from old Scattercash his lending rates are more than fair I have been reliably informed.
So you lot you better elect a leader for this swansong trip and in the mean time send me your non refundable deposits to avoid disappointment, cheers for now Buzzer.

Wouldn’t be surprised he wasn’t at the top edge of the scrutiny panel’s list!
He told me once his mother would not let him be treasurer of the church choir, I wonder why Buzzzer
The problem is not him. It was down to his father who when he was a small boy gave him a good hiding for giving away his toys. He has never forgotten that as he has never given anything away since. No offence intended Ian. Love you really. Regards Charlie
