I always look in on this thread and have enjoyed it’s content for years.i have a question,the southern bulk Volvo? Where were this company based please and who owned it? Seems familiar to me somehow?were they connected to j.c. Dean from Salisbury? Or am I just getting confused

Yes,as stated Southern Bulk were from Alton.They had storage at Lasham airfield where they were Southern Storage.When Warrens packed up they took over their yard in Mill Lane and became Hampshire Commercials or as I knew it.Hampshire Comicals.
Re your fence Jim I¬m still trying to fix a day rate.Two cups of tea and four chocolate digestives aint enough!
