I donāt think many people on here would last 2 mins at lomasās ,how many lomas drivers know how theyāre paid ? None that I know do,and do they care ? No, because they drive top class motors ,earn good money for someone who I hear is a good boss .then thereās the posters on here wanting to get nitty gritty over hrs and pay and overtime ,the ones who drag the day out ect ect enough to put you off employing anyone .

i had a go at lomasās ,I only Iasted as far as the mot bay !! Them 500 hp plus men complained Iād got the best lorry ,I was sacked off the job lol!

Got a few good old mates on there and whilst I work for a very different company,but on the same sort of job, belly tanks on bulk powder. And am undoubtedly on better t and cās ( we are own account).
I canāt say, in all honesty, that Iāve noticed A. The motors are any quicker (I often pass them on the motorway) & B . The drivers are any different to anywhere else. Good and bad everywhere.
But what I can honestly say is that if my job ever ended I"d be onto Richard the very next day!

Yep thatās me mate ,or Castle Cement as we prefer to be known.
Run out of Ketton but I spend most weeks outbased at either Kings Cross or Purfleet.
Once again this comes up. Lomas are not over, they just arenāt under either & theyāre max weight all the time so the slightest gradient & theyāre airborne.
