Locked out as Passkeys seems broke and no backup / recovery options offered

For some reason I can’t login to my original “hugh_lorry” account because there seems to be an error with Passkeys. It’s not offering me any recovery or backup methods. I know the key exist on two different devices, and I logged in OK to make a post 2 weeks ago. Had to create a new account to post this.

All I get now is “An error occurred: A security key with the provided credential ID could not be found”.

The key works fine for all other accounts (gmail etc).

Tried DM’ing DieselDave but no reply yet. Any ideas how to resolve this?

The only way I found when I was locked out on the old forum way back in 2003, was to rejoin with a different username completely. Rikki tried but couldn’t solve it otherwise.
