Not sure what you mean Jeff.
If you mean all about Paul, Ringo, and George RATHER than all about John,.I would say no, on the contrary in fact, it was all about John (and dGeorge) primarily, and a chance to have them performing all together again…even if only virtually.
I think the idea maybe came following on from John '‘performing with Paul’'at Glasto last year…so he took it a step further.
Who would have thought as a fan that you/me would hear a radio DJ saying ''Here’s the NEW one from The Beatles ‘’ ?
Peter Jackson says he thinks the song is Johns love letter to Paul - Giles Martin says the same. It’s possible when you listen to the lyrics. They play that angle in the video.
I dunno tho- John was usually kowtowing to Yoko in most of his love songs.
Just came across this, ‘If you were here today’,.McCartney’s tribute to lennon sang live…(better than the one where Lennon actually called him a C### in his song after the break up.

I’ve heard the album version, but Paul singing it live is a bit touching if you’re a fan.
The emotion in his voice is even making sing off key, and he can barely keep it together.

It’s Paul giving the back story on some of his songs with a lot of surprises and dispelled myths.
For instance did you know that ‘Got to get you into my life’ is about mariujana?
And that Elanor Rigby’s name was not taken off the gravestone in the cemetry opposite John’s youth club as always stated.
He also references the musical battle of songs between him and John after the split…still an element of bitterness can be detected in his voice.
Best bit imo is when he talks about his tributr song to John…‘If you were here today’

Both series worth listening to.
