December 14th 2008 : M5 Motorway Junction 22, near Weston Super Mare, Somerset, England

UFOINFO Sighting Form Report

Location: M5 Motorway Junction 22, Near Weston Super Mare, Somerset

Date: 14th Dec 2008

Time: 3pm

Number of witnesses: 2

Number of objects: 3

Shape of objects: Diamond

Weather Conditions: cold, clear but cloudy

Description: Was driving towards Taunton on the M5 - As we were approaching Brent Knoll I noticed a big bright light in front of some grey clouds, it was as bright as zinc would be when lit. As it headed towards the clouds the light seemed to reduce in size before disappearing into the clouds. It was then that i noticed a strange dark shape sat at the side of Brent Knoll (which is a hill that sits alone) I pointed this out to my son who is 18 - who proceeded to watch this as i was driving. The shape that was just sat there seemed to drop very quickly then as quickly as it dropped it went back to its original position As i was driving and couldn’t keep my eyes on it constantly - i looked over and noticed it had moved to sitting over the top of the hill. My son then pointed out that he was actually watching another one - there was 2!

The shape that didn’t seem to be moving either, turned around facing us and what would appear to of been a huge light was right in the centre of a dark almost diamond shape, with a bump shape on the top. Unfortunately as we driving on the motorway we could’t pull over and watch it properly or take a photograph. So we were left with no alternative but to drive away from this and watch it through my rear view mirror and my son through the back window.

It didn’t appear to move again in all the time that we drove off down the motorway. It definitely wasn’t a helicopter, aeroplane nor a bird - as it would have to of been bigger than an albatross! It was relatively low due to the size of the hill - and relatively big, and it certainly didn’t have wings.

I really am convinced that someone else must of seen these - not to mention the brightness of the light was impossible to miss driving towards it. The bright light that also disappeared into the clouds could not of been a reflection of the sun - as the sun was behind the cloud it disappeared into

Also as this was 3pm - why would a helicopter or otherwise have its light on?

I wonder if anyone else saw this?

below is another Sighting

Over the years I’ve seen a few unexplained things both as a trucker and pilot. In the early 80’s I was going north on the M1, about 3am, and noticed a cylindrical ‘craft’ pacing me off to the right. Stayed alongside for a good 15mins, no wings or tailfin and none of the standard light configuration.

Another was pre-M40 going up the old A40, came over the rise and there’s a ball of light in the sky. Pulled to the side of the road for a better look when a rep pulled up behind me . We both watched as the light descended into the field maybe quarter of a mile away. It stayed there for 10 mins and just shot straight up. Interestingly, once it disappeared there was about five minutes of what looked like sheet lightning in a clear sky.

And at the risk of being boring now… was flying off the coast of Scotland when a disk flwe beneath us, I was at 9,000ft and this thing was around 3-4k.

But the wierdest thing I ever saw was my ex boss washing his own car :open_mouth:

That area is on a flight path in to Bristol International Airport.
As it would be in a flight pathe area the be safe be seen words come to mind as aircraft are warned that the helecopter would be in the area.

I dont doubt anything you or anyone says as a few years ago I was following a guy down the M5 just round jn 13 southbound and I had a GREEN light pass me on the nearside not on the road but in the field next to the M/way, Get’s into Michaelwood and this guy asked me if I ha seenthe green light :open_mouth: :open_mouth: Thank [ZB] for that I thought I was losing it but We def saw it and it didnt go up it just sort of switched off the light :exclamation: :exclamation: :exclamation: :exclamation:

Not driving but sitting in the back garden at night!!

About 30 lights appeared floating in the sky. They disappeared up through the clouds after about 10 minutes.Next day the radio said that hundreds of people phoned the police!

It turns out it was some weird religious thing where people put candles in containers and attached them to balloons and let them go!!

Scared the crap out of me - thought we were getting invaded!!

I am not sure what the hell it was, but I was returning from Turkey, only an hour or so from Kapikule when there was all these moving lights on the horizon. it became brighter and must have been an electrical storm. Someone suggested the Aurora Borrealis (Northern Lights)

Another strange sight you may have is the green flash just as the sun disappears beyond the horizon. You will see this as the sun drops when you are at sea.
